Last night's run was really rough. I didn't think I was going to get to run since Alf has been getting home late from jury duty...that's a story for another day! :) After dinner I headed out for a 5k. It did NOT go well! Right off the bat I felt like I was going to puke. I just couldn't seem to find my pace. It was SO frustrating! I finally made it home and went straight into the house for a cold shower to cool off and to have a good cry. I was so mad at myself. I know we all have our off days, but I feel like I'm going backward in my training. I'm determined not to give up.

everyone has days like this. sometimes it is because of what i ate or it's just one of those days. the important thing is that you got out there and still ran 2 miles. you'll have a better run next time.
so true...what I eat can make or break my run later. I agree with Wendy on her second point too. The point was, you got out there! You are still training even though you may not have had the pace or distance you wanted.It still counts!
To make you feel better,compare yourself to me.I cannot run at all right now because I am sooo tired and sooo nauseous! I was training for two half marathons this Fall and will not be able to do them now. This surprise baby is totally worth it but I still miss my running.Run some for me.;)
