So...the first race is over. I ran yesterday afternoon and it was a major mind battle. My brain thinks that since the 5k is over we should just chill out and take it easy. Little does it know that now is the time to push harder and run longer. Saturday was just a stepping stone. I guess my question now is how do I safely push my body to run longer?

you do it safely by staying on track!! Keep going and stretch a lot! :) Time to sign up for a 10k!!! You have a hafl marathon in December!!! :)
