Today was the worst day in my three weeks and three days of homeschooling. The attacks this week have been rough. Then I remind myself, "Self, you are leading worship this weekend. Don't you remember those weeks are always full of warfare?".
Then Jeremy got home and finally I could walk out the door and run my butt off. As soon as I hit the start button on the Garmin and took off running, I let it all out. It was nice to tell God how I was feeling for two miles and allow him to speak the last three. I LOVE when God speaks to me so clearly about things and I can take it and "run with it". Literally, I ran with it. The more I ran with it, the more I got.
Over and over again, I heard the word STEADFAST. And boy did I get it! God was showing me this word for a reason and now I am thrilled the day was crappy because as I emptied myself out tonight during the run, as I let it all out, God filled me back up. Tonight I am overflowing with peace and incredible revelation! God showed me something so cool tonight. I love that! I love how personal my God is! He rocks!
Steadfast running,
Amanda
(Kelly, I kept thinking of this song you sent me a few months back when I was going through hell. It spoke to me again tonight. Isn't it awesome that we have a God we can go to with anything and everything?!)

Thankful 4!
Just got home from running 4 miles. This was my first run since last Wednesday. I've been resting my leg and it seemed fine while I ran. It was great to be able to pray and focus on God. I need Him so much and running helps me run closer to HIM.
God laid some really cool things on my heart to pray about. I love that time with Him. I love grabbing those Asics and hitting the road. I can disconnect from everything and plug into Him.
Thank you God for running.
Happy running!
