An easy run was on the schedule and thank goodness because last night was hard!
The great thing about my run tonight was looking at my pace and noticing how easy it was. A few months ago that pace would have been hard. Speed work is the most amazing tool ever! It totally empowers you! I started speed work about two months ago and hated it at first but now I am beginning to see how incredible it is. It works!!!!!

(lost another toenail today and have one hanging! my feet are horrible looking but who cares! The one I originally lost is really bad. It tried to grow back and now it just stays blue. The next couple of months are going to only intensify so I don't see it getting better. Someone asked about it hurting? Yes, it hurts in the beginning. Kind of throbs. Once it's gone, no pain. You should tape it if you see it turning blue underneath. I've heard you may be able to save the nail. It did not work for me though!)
