The high is gone!

Okay, so the high is definitely GONE!! :) This is really hard...but I DON'T want to give up and quit. DO NOT let me quit this!!

Tonight I went back to the gym to run on the treadmill. I feel like I need to work up to running outside. I used the 5K program on the machine...it took me 48 minutes. It really bummed me out! I just have to remember BABY STEPS! I can't expect immediate results and changes.

Here is what it looked like:
1/2 mile - walked to warm up
1 mile - ran
1/2 mile - walked
1/2 mile - ran
1/2 mile - walked

Two positive things I can take away from tonight are that I ran more than I did Monday night and I beat out some negative voices raging war inside my head.

The high comes and goes in the beginning. BUT STICK WITH IT! YOU ARE DOING AWESOME! I LOVE YOU!

You will amaze yourself after a just a few weeks (does that seem too long;) ?) You will run and it will be less effortless.You will still have your "on" days and "off" days but you'll notice improvement,I promise!

sorry, my previous comment did not make a whole lot of sense...in a hurry to rest while my little ones are napping. Basically, I meant that it will become easier before you know it!
